Practicing Kendo

Kendo, like all budo, is a life long path. As you progress in kendo, you develop and improve the basics learned in the beginning until the body knows them.

Kendo Advanced KeikoAtlanta Kendo Kai’s Advanced classes break down as follows:

Kendo Intermediate ClassIntermediate: Begin wearing bogu, learn all basic waza and sharpen basic footwork and endurance.

Kendo Men StrikeAdvanced: You will begin sharpening yourself and your fellow kenshi through rigorous training.
